A huge amount of work was put into this year’s Low Carbon Networks & Innovation conference, held in the International Centre in Telford. Project GRAID was part of a much larger National Grid innovation stand and attracted a good amount of interest. The totem included a video explaining the concept, a 3D printed model and items from the actual robot to give a sense of scale. The team also presented on the second day to a great crowd interested in the various projects that were discussed.
The LCNI conference is a great opportunity to discuss GRAID with like-minded people and collect contacts of those who might be interested in the technology and those that might be able to assist along the way. Several of the Synthotech team were also in attendance and Wez Little the Innovation Director helped to present their side of the progress this year.
